This is a daily driver that will see a few track passes a year. I’m thinking about regular springs, lowering springs, and/or coil-overs but I’m not sure where to start...

Coilovers would be awesome. But its gonna cost your some serious change.

H&R springs look the best IMO. I have BBK and they made the car handle better but the rear sits higher than the front and I dont really like that.

I have H&R Springs w/ Bilsteins through Maximum Motorsports. They are great.

Subscribing......To peeps above with H&R springs....Did they make your car ride a lot stiffer on potholes, I currently live in Jersey and its like living on the dark side of the Moon with potholes the size of small craters . I want to lower my car to get rid of the stupid 4x4 look, but was wary of destruction of already ****ty ride quality/wandering on the hwy...Any thoughts??? , eh?

That's the set up right there! H&R are really good springs! that's all my german tuner friend uses on Proche, Mercs and BMW's. Also, Bilsteins are THE absolute best shocks money can buy.

i have been debating on what to put on my car. i think i may stay with the stock springs and just go with some decent Tokico's. Not Bilsteins by any means but my car is just a weekend cruiser.

I have tokico shocks/struts and eibach springs and love them. It lowered the car about 1 and 1/2 inches. Great for everyday driving. I can take exit ramps fast with no problem.

With any lowering spring, do I also have to get a new set of caster camber plates and new bushings?

Go with the Eibachs. On my car though there is some bumpsteer so you might need a kit to correct it. I also drag my car on the strip too, but its not a big problem if you go with the progressive kit. Eibach built the pro set for stock shocks and settings, but like I said I have increased bumpsteer now. SO it depends on the year of your car and how old it is....
