As you may have guessed... I still have my cobra. It was supposed to be gone by last week, but the buyer couldn't make things happen. So I ended up being $500 richer and still have my car.

Anybody for a highway roll this weekend? Jordan?

Sorry Tou, but my weekend is full. I have also retired my street racing career. No PIR drags this weekend and next Saturday I'll need sleep for the Bellevue show. On the plus side, if you need a helmet the Yamaha store in Tigard off 217 is selling nice ones for $120. I picked up a new one, so I have my old one you can borrow anytime.

No more street racing!?! I hear ya... I was only kidding.

Your helmet... is that the one you let me borrow last time at PIR? That one works for me! And thanks for the offer!

I wish I could, but my job is uncertain right now and it makes it even that much harder to keep it now.

If things go the way it's supposed to go, I may be able to get a $55k retention bonus next year and be able to pay off the car + maybe a KB blower. Now that would be GREAT!

Too bad I dont do the street racing either

The SS is running for a few weeks before she goes back to Texas for a few more ponies.

oh well. Maybe we will find ourselves somewhere safe rolling side by side in the future and an LS1 can bite back

Now that would be sweet, thats one big ass bonus! Having no car payment would be a dream. Lot more money for mods.

P.S. Jon, did you ever get any info on the next little mod we talked about

Hey Tou, hopes things work out for you. I got a great offer in San Diego, but I don't want to leave OR....Im just going to stick it out as long as I can. Hopefully I will find something to satisfy my wallet, don't want to settle. I have to much experience just to give it away..

Black 03 coupe. Just turned 20,000 miles this morning. Runs GREAT! No problems, except that little "tink" from the rear, which many 03 cobras seem to exhibit.

Price reduced to $25.5k if you're interested.

Thanks.

------------

Jesse, that really ain't no bonus. It's a "see ya later, sucker... we've milked all the info that we needed from you so get lost!" kinda of a deal... As long as I land back on my feet within a reasonable amount of time, I'll be sitting pretty with some money for toys.

------------

ZeroCool, thanks man. I know what you mean...
