Sorry this is kind of like a pointless post, but i just wanted to say how much of losers kids could be. Last night me and two of my friends took the bikes ( bicycle ) out of the garage, and thought we would ride around for a little. its gettin nice out, and here in New york 4.35 a gallon isnt to nice. As we were riding around, atleast 5 times kids would roll down there windows driving by and would yell like NICE BIKESS LOSERSS!!.. and one kid even rolled down there window and reved there motor at us ( civic ) like they thought they were cool to have a car. Im sure all those kids were High School seniors that just got there licences to... Sorry for the pointless post i just had to get it out.

- But when said and done, it doesnt bother me one bit, cause i know what i got sittin home in the garage.

In small towns, bike riding is something you can get away with. But in big cities like Seattle where I live your days are numbered. Sooner or later your gonna get plowed right over and the driver will never even think about stopping. Happens all the time here.

It goes both ways...

We had a Mustang cruise a few weeks ago and as we were leaving one area a bunch of cyclists were complaining about how we were destroying the environment

I've never heard of anything like that.

I once had a crazy old professor tell the class that if they ride bikes on the street, they should ride against the traffic so the drivers know they can see them and won't get hit.

He was crazy and old though, and wasn't really hating on bikers...

Sometimes I used to get that, but it was 99% of the time residents from out of state (decent sized university draws them all in). Aside from that people down here are pretty respecful about that type of thing.

If I were to get that now id probaly stop, hop off my bike and moon them as they pass by. Hopefully, blinding the driver and causing them to run off the road like the douchebags they are.

I never had any of those problems when I had a bike. I live in K.C. I did have the occational "close" call. Most of the the people complimented me about the bike. What I don't like to see bikers do is ride down line of the lanes on the highway. Those guys will pass in between 2 cars. That's very dangerous for everyone. Pearl02.
