Having a manual transmission problem right now. Periodically the car will pop out of 4th gear. Also, I will end up grinding the gears periodically when I'm shifting into 4th. Just started happening about 3 days ago. I have a short shifter installed on the car if that is helpful at all.
Any advice as to what might be wrong and how much $$$$$$$$ it'll cost to fix (or if I can do it myself) would be greatly appreciated!
