My 03 has reached the end of it's ABS's usefulness. With the brakes and wheel/tire it now has, I think it tends to confuse the ABS computer at times. I've had to stop quickly a few times in traffic, ABS kicks in and I have little to no brakes. Brakes are 13" 6 piston Wilwoods on the front and Cobra brakes on the rear. Wheel's/tires are staggered 17. The usual 275's &315's for tires. Anyone ever eliminate that ABS mess by the radiator? Would like to just end up with an adjustable prop valve to the rears. Any idea's?

I'm glad I don't have any of that crap on my car. I'm still curious as to whether you can do this without angering the computer.

I don't recommend it, but, sounds like you are looking for something like this: http://www.prbmachining-absdeletemanifolds.com/
Alternative, you could build your own with instructions here: http://www.bullseyetechnology.net/ABSentABS.htm
Or you may be able to disable it by putting the switched power on a switch or cutting the wire.
Not sure of the legality/liability implications of removing safety devices... but it isn't a complicated system you should be able to repair it with easy (or find someone who can). In fact, I am adding ABS to my cobra replica using the mustang system. Just seems like something good to have in panic situations or varying road conditions. You may even find the ABS wasn't at fault and there is another issue with the brake system. Just a few things to think about.
