lost my predator, what do i do?

2002 gt: my car is due for smog so i need to put my factory mid pipe back on, but i have the diablsport tune on with the MIL eliminating option on(O2 sensors turned off or w/e). turns out the tuner isnt in my trunk anymore, but the empty box is....what can i do to fix this?

If you've thoroughly exhausted all your search efforts for your tuner, then you're probably gonna have to take it in to the dealer to have them reflash it.

You will lose your Diablo tune permanently and will probably end up having to buy a new tuner, if you want to reprogram it.

Im pretty sure they wont even know if the rear sensors are off...they should only be checking for fault codes, not actually reading any data from the EEC.

so if i put the factory h-pipe back in with the cats, the O2 sensors being turned off wont effect the emissions? im just worried about passing the test, i dont want to be sent to the state ref

FOUND IT!!!! guess it ended up in my employer's storage unit thanks for the help guys.

nice find. Might I suggest leaving it in your garage/house when done. I've always been paranoid that the shop/carwash/oil change people will steal mine if I left it in the trunk.

Most people are honest, but it only takes one turd to spoil the pool.

that was such a relief now its down at the dealer getting the pipe swapped out. i would do it myself but the dealer put it on super tight when they replaced my tranny so my stupid Husky air compressor isnt powerfull enough to impact the bolts off but everything should be back to normal soon enough for my 4:10 install
