sucks man, that is totally repairable though. pull all the front panels off and see if it really is twisted or if its just panels. if it is, take it to a shop and have it straightened. don't let it go, i "totalled" my 87 t top car (all it needed was new bumper, hood, fenders, lights, radiator support and radiator...$1000 to fix and replace all of it doing it myself) and i traded it away for a big mistake. i get mad and regret it everytime i think about it now.

Honestly... Your a jack ass for driving drunk.. Someone could be dead because of you and luckily they are not. I hope you get the harshest punishment you can get. You dont even deserve to own a car let alone have a license to drive..

I'm glad I never had to learn my lesson that way. I guess I was a lucky teen. Good luck bro, it's nice to see someone blame themself for once.

Been there done that man, I was in the hospital for 6 weeks, nobody else involved in my accident either, but I did get up close and personal with a light pole at 75mph...... Mine was back in 2000, since then, I only drink if i'm at home or not driving, and I actually dont drink very often anyway, maybe once a month... For everyone who wants to flame people for making mistakes, you first have to make mistakes to learn from them; so your all gods amongst men........ I think not.
Now for everyone else, learn from our mistakes...

You people with your holier than thou attitudes, Christ! He learned from it, and he'll be in enough trouble as it is without people telling him he ****** up.

Im sure 90% of the people in here have done something ignorant in thier lifetimes that put thiers and other peoples lives in danger.

Maybe instead of Stangnet, some of you should go to the M.A.D.D. website instead. http://www.madd.org/

people make mistakes....most don't even learn from them. He's already accepted and stated his mistake and has taken responsibility for it. so quit being d:cks.

The people backing up the "we all make mistakes" are some of the reason there is still drunk drivers out there killing people everyday. Theres a difference between a small harmless mistake, and blacking out and driving drunk and then crashing. If it takes for you to wreck to learn a lesson, your just aiding to the drunk driving problems out there...

And before I get told I am holier then though, I have gone out had some drinks and driven before. I am sure a lot of people have, but I know when I have had too many to drive, or plan ahead of time if I want to drink more than a couple and have others drive me!

Everyone makes mistakes. Some are worse than others. You were pretty lucky to get out of this without killing or injuring any innocent people. You have accepted responsibility and appear have sworn off drinking then driving. Life is a hard teacher sometimes and this one of those times.

You'll get plenty of abuse and well you should. It should also be recognized that you stood up like a man and took responsibility. Something lots of other people just can't seem to do. I have almost been in your shoes and that alone was enough to straighten me out. You will, deservedly so, probably lose your license and it will probably be an expensive lesson, more than just the damage to the car, but as long as you walk away from it having learned your lesson then the whole thing wasn't for nothing.

Good luck and keep you head up.

Drunk driving is awful thats what makes me a goddamn angel. Why dont you grow a set and get some real world experience.
I Know more people who have been killed because of drunk drivers than any other way killed. Ive been in 2 bad accidents where the guy who hit me was drunk.
Im not acting like im holier than thou because god knows i am guilty of speeding or other careless **** while driving. But never will i ever drive drunk. I wont even let my friends drive drunk. You can ask any one on here i know and they will tell you how against it I am.
And take this into perspective Ryan suppose he blacked out and smashed into your new supercoupe.. Would you be singing the whole we all make mistakes thing? No you would not.. You would be bitching about it.
So run on over to the SC forums and grow your self some pubes. Before you decide to hand out real world experience about drunk drivers..

lol no if he hit my super coupe i would giave him a pat on the back...i want another mustang im gonna re paint this and fix what needs done and see if i can talk my dad into letting me sell it or trade it for a 5.0 hatch...

i will say drunk driving is stupid...but he admitted he was wrong and he is paying for it...look at the stang for example...it could of been a lot worse...the last thing he needs is people he don't even know telling him that he is dumb for doing it...i think he knows that by know.

In no way was i saying its ok to do, im just saying that most people have done something to jeopardize themselves or someone else, but it might have not involved alcohol... anywho, im glad noone got hurt, and between all the fines he'll have to pay, and looking at the mess his car is in, im sure that will be enough to keep him straight from now on.

I am glad he is OK and that he appears to have learned his lesson. He has accepted responsibility and will pay for his actions.

That IMO is a far cry better from someone who will come here and admit that they do something just as illegal and act like they are taking the high road because they are not drinking.

I have made mistakes in the past and was lucky enough not to be in his situation. At this point, pick yourself up, pay the piper, and move on.

I have been told so many stories from my dad and uncles "we were so damn drunk, got the ol' Road Runner going as fast as it can go" blah blah... back then they didn't have to share the road with as many people though... I do like to play Need For Speed on the PS2 drunk with friends, for some reason I'm better at it?
