I would guess I pulled about 20-25 LBS. out of the rear of the car yesterday. Cut out most of the sound insulation in the rear area around the hatch, cut the insulation off of the carpet, and scraped the tar stuff out all the way up to the seats. Those two sound mats between the carpet and the spare are pretty heavy! Hoping to get to summit tomorrow so I can get the AC delete bracket and clean that out as well. I would like to get the car well under 3k, or at about 3k with me in it.
Quick question....The gross vehicle weight stamped on the door says 4k plus pounds, but my registation says it weighs 3198....I really don't think it weighs over 2 tons....Is that normal? Just thought it was wierd.
