Loud pop... when i punched it

so while driving the other day i went and punched it and hit 50 and then let off bc a car was coming around the bend and it was a corner and then i quickly punched it again and a very loud backfire came out. What kind of damage could this have caused? because now my car doesnt seem to want to run right.

its most likely running rich....it may have created an exhaust leak or damaged a 02 sensor. If you have cats, it could have broke some peices off and clogged them

ok cool. so it wouldnt have blown a head gasket or anything like that? the o2 sensors werent even plugged in they were old ones, and i dont have cats. Thanks for the help

Probably the cause of your running rich problem there. Are you running a wideband? What blower setup are you running and was it tuned?

no blower...got ripped off from a ebay scammer, the oxygen sensors are in now, but not that day and no i do not have a wide band.
