i want to keep my unique Bullitt sound, only louder.

what aftermarket mufflers/midpipes increase sound volume but don't change it?

i heard mac prochambers (or the offroad h) do this. can anyone confirm?

X pipe will give it more hollow and exotic sound.

An h-pipe will give you a deep rumbly sound, kinda like the old mucle cars. I'm sure it would sound sweet with your bullit mufflers!

o/r H gets my vote. i have an o/r X, but i think with your bullett mufflers the H would sound better than the X, imo. also the X will change the tone from what you have, while the H will enhance what you have now. either way, go O/R.

you can get a prochamber in catted or non catted. I love the tone of the prochamber (deep and rumbling), but it wont make you're car super loud cuz the chamber is like putting a 3rd, but small, muffler in which enhances the tone. It is also said to make a lil bit more power than a regular H pipe....altough i dont know if its a fact.

I vote offroad H. Like others said. it'll keep the tone you have but make it a lot louder. it'll be deep and muscle car like.

thanks guys. so when i see people say "mac o/r H", they mean the non-catted prochamber?

Also, apparently, they only make mids for long tubes and shorties. I assume the stock headers are shorties?

the stock headers are shorties. and actually when people say mac o/r h they mean a mac o/r h. mac makes that and the prochamber. the prochamber isn't a true h-pipe, but more of a hybrid of the two.

oh boy, too many choices

so there's 3 types: the Mac O/R H, Catted Prochamber and Non-catted prochamber.

Since I have somg in my area, I'll keep my stock catted midpipe and get an aftermarket mid. Which of the 3 is the one that increases tonal volume, but doesn't change the sound (I want the stock sound only louder)? Either of the Prochambers?

i appreciate the help guys.

you could prolly through in a catted h in as well. if you want to increase volume, but keep the same sound then your best bet would prolly be a o/r h-pipe. a catted will increase the volume as well, but not as much. be warned though, the sound could slightly change although you should retain it's muscle car tone with an h-pipe.
