It's a whole new beast now. No more torque converter shudder, no more late and long 1-2 shifts, no more early 3-4 shifts that leave to bogging. The 1-2 shift is the most solid shift at hard throttle, but it doesn't kick your ass - just no hesitation. The 3200 stall is perfect for my aspirations, the car moves a lil slower at idle and take a tiny bit more gas than before to say get to 8-10mph, but if you lay into it at a stop it takes you for a ride - haven't goven it WOT from a stop to try a burn out test yet cuz im still making sure each time that there are no puddles from the tranny supercooler lines i fab'd and that the input line is hotter than the output. Which im glad does work thus far cuz from what i can tell the tranny oil coming in is damn hot. This tranny now shifts faster at hard throttle than i was ever to smoothly do on a T-45:nice:
Here's a list of parts and a pic from my tech thread:

I came out this morning and looked under the car for a pool, didnt see one - then back up and saw a small spot about 3" across further back than where i was expecting to find it. Looks like it's comming from around my forward x-pipe area where it goes up to meet the headers. With all the external cooler lines i ran i didn't expect a drip spot from the further back area. Im thinking it's from the steel cooler lines meeting back to the tranny cuz i didnt use tephlon tape on those ends - but they didnt have it on it stock....so i dunno. Ill have to put it back on the rack to try to see it - will be hard tho cuz its almost a non-existant slow drip

anyone know how to properly seat the tranny dipstick line? Thats where theres a small "leak" or drip, i put the O ring on when i slid it in, but it seemed to be in there pretty good once i bolted the bellhousing and crossmember on and i couldn't push it down more so i assumed it was snug/sealed. When i push on the top of it from the engine bay it doesnt help much cuz theres too many bends. Any advice?

Did you just rebuild your tranny or did you have a different 4r70w built? I wouldn't mind doing all that but I couldn't do it myself with the tools currently at my disposal :( I have a feeling labor on that to have a shop do it would be a fairly astronomical figure.

Nope, you just have to shop around. I had my stock one completely rebuilt, just took it out and put it back in w/ the new supercooler myself. I saved about $550-600 in labor alone by doing that. Having it rebuilt really wasnt that bad, labor was $545 since i just gave it to em on a bench. But when you add up all those parts plus having a torque converter hand built it's a big project.
I'll go ahead and list the costs so people have an idea:
Labor: $545
Parts (i added A LOT that's not a standard rebuild): $768
Spec Rite 3200 stall Torque Converter: $600 w/ core charge that reduces it by $150
Supercooler including the extra 4' 3/8' tubing and fittings i bought: $118
13 quarts of synthetic Mobil 1 ATF: $90
