you can get some crappy tires up front for about 90 bucks, i hope you didnt mean you were gettin the 555r's up front too... Ok, with a slick, gears and bolt on's and a 100 shot, you will be in low 12 territory, considering you can drive at the track

No but I assumed I would probally need to get new tires up front too, which for estimation purposes Iput at the same price. I guess I could keep my Kuhmo Ecstas up front, but haveing them all around right now = no tractions

Im running a 150 shot with NX plate kit, 30# injectors, a focus pump and a MD tune. I have 2 dyno pulls and 4 passes at the track and no problems. I set the A/F to run a little rich so it would be a little safer.

I have a little more tunning to do because it is a little to rich so when I shift I bog down a little and it really kills my time's I also have a serious traction problem know.

When I finally get everything dialed in I should be in the high 11's. My best time on the 150 shot know is 12.98 but my trap speed was 117 so hopefully some traction will be the fix.

Nitrous is safe as long as you get it tune and get all the safety goodies.

DONT GET NITTO 555R'S THEY SUCK, THEY ARE A BIG PART OF MY TRACTION PROBLEM

" LT Headers + full exhaust, Drag radials, and gear would get me into the 12s....."

This should get you in the 12s with practice A hit of N2O would make it that much more fun. I believe in learning your car in gradual power increases. This will make you a much better driver and give you better control of your car.

i was under the impression that with hypereutic pistons our cars dont take well to juice, but i guess if you use it correctly and not retardedly (i just made that up) you should be fine, i think that the 92 and under 302's are good for spray cuz flat top pistons......i dunno, im not a mechanic, but good luck in whatever you do

Get the nitto drag radials if you want to keep the rear tires for longer than 5k miles.....i love nitto's because of the fact that they hook so much better than street tires, and they last way longer than the MT drags or the BFG's. Yeah, I will agree that the MT's and BFG drag radials are better than nitto's, but it makes a little more sense to me to get nitto's....unless you're a big money baller and you dont need to worry about gettin new tires every 3 months

dude i am running 13.8-13.9 @ 102mph with just midpipe/4.10 and exuast
with the same crappy tires i had when i got the car

my goal is a 12 sec car also and the way i am going to do it is

sticky tires and a little practice will net me 13.5-13.6
i am also using nx kit only going to use a 50-75shot with all the safe stuff 94 octane fuel or better
1-2 steps colder plugs
retard the timing 1-2 degrees
and never spray below 3000 rpms

that will get me into the 12's

if nitrous is used correctly u will be fine most motors go up in smoke because guys want more power

so far as nitrous its almost always every 50shot=.4-.5 off your time

12sec car:

mac cai
magnaflow exuast
mac prochamber
nitrous express kit 50-75shot
good set of drag radials

and alittle practice will get u 12's
