I like where he said he was going to make it his daily driver just by swapping the tranny back to a 5 speed cause a 7 sec car wouldn't be verry streetable.

Low 7s in the 1/8 are possible. He doesnt know what is in the motor, and Im sure that combo with a good bottem end and a built C4 could run low 7s in the 1/8. And yes a low 7 second 1/8th mile car could be a decent daily driver.

DOH! Went back and looked at the picture again. I saw the blue near the bottom and automatically assumed it was the headers without looking a centimeter above to actually notice the headers.

It would have to be stroked to come anywhere near low 7's...

More than likely it would need juice (or strawberry milkshake).

Hooged out GT40s, stroker and a big cam, and low 7s shouldnt be too hard. The fact he doesnt know much about it leads me to believe the track numbers might be off...

But I will say this, some people jumped on the fact he claimed low 7s, and automatically thought 1/4 mile. So technically short of the guy not knowing the combo he could be telling the truth about the timeslips. Personally I would buy it, as most people would probably run away, but it sounds like he is misinformed and not lying about the timeslip.

Regardless of length of strip... if he (personally) didn't run the 7s, he shouldn't be claiming them.
