Since I lowered my mustang my drive shaft rubs on the
parking brake under the car. How can I fix this without
lifting it back up.It only seems to do this when i got people in
the car.

might sound like this wont work, but it will, as i used to have the same problem.
if at all possible, when you go to get new tires, (like if you have low profile or just plain shorter tires,) get some a little taller than the ones you have. also, if possible, turn into your driveway at an angle, maybe even an extreme angle.

Yeah i will vouch for that. I had my new exhaust on for like 2 hours when i found out that she dont like my driveway. I cant go in straight gotta take it at an angle. I looked underneath the other day and my fittings are a bit scraped up!

there has to be a another way other then gettin taller tires, i am alos having this problem, and i want to fix it.

I already put new tires , I hav 275/35/18 in the rear and 255/35/18
up front.

mine rubs a little but not too bad, the only time I notice it is when I am on a lift looking under it...

tires have nothing to do with it, his DS rubs against the body of the car, doesnt matter which tires he gets DS clearance will still be the same.

i had this problem when i installed aluminum DS, bracket for brake lines is in that grove made for DS, and has to be relocated to the side of it instead being on the top of the DS in that groove.

lift it up on a hoist, by the marks on the driveshaft you'll see the location where its rubbing against the hanger, its either handbrake or fuel/brake lines, cant remember which one it is, you got to relocate the whole bracket from the top of that ( i dunno the terminology - space where the DS goes from your tranny ro the rear end ) groove to the side, where it would clear the driveshaft when the rear springs are compressed. it is common on 94-95 cars, or so i was told. i paid someone to do it cause i didnt know it was an easy fix, it should take you half an hour to fix and not more.

mine is lowered 2 inch on the back, but the problem was when i had heavy subwoofer box with 2 subs and big amps on the back, with one passenger or more and full tank of gas, probably same in his case, cause 2 inch is not much. now that i have removed all the weight from my car it wouldnt be a problem but i fixed it a while ago anyways
