95 GT 60,000 miles original owner. I consistently have my oil changed
ever 3000 miles with a synthetic . Tonight on the way home I noticed the
low oil light on. When I got home I checked the dipstick and found the oil level
half way between the tip and the full line. Seems like it may need some oil.

This is the first time in almost 10 years that I seen the low oil indicator.

Do I have a potential problem?

Thanks

Filler back up and park in the same place every day. If you park outside, try a piece of cardboard or a tarp or something. Check it daily.

Also you said you "have" it changed. Did you check to make sure they filled it up all the way? You may be using the same amount, but it was under filled this time. Or they could have put the same amount in it, but the pit guy drained both plugs on the oil pan. That front one will hold quite a bit more.

Lots of possibilities here to narrow down before I would get too worried about it.

Just check and recheck. Note each oil change where it's at on the dipstick when you take it in for the oil change and how much there is when you pick it up. :nice:
