Well in past a few days i saw that my stock gauge reeds low oil pressure on "N" ,so i bought AutoMeter Phantom oil pressure gauge (electrical) and after i installed yesterday i find out oil pressure was 5psi at idle and 10psi on 2000rpms, i tought i mounted gauge wrong because i engine didn't make any strange noise ,so i took for ride last night around 7PM ,on way home i heard some ticking noise that coming from engine bay,so i pull over and open hood ,man when i heard that loud ticking noise i know i mess up with something
I called Flat bed truck and guy tow my Stang to friends garage
After a few hrs i had engine in air and pan off
I find metal shavings in oil pan and i find that i spun one rod bearing
I'm pissed is f**k , summer is almost here ,Stang is broken
I hope i will fix this soon

Dman Ernan, that sucks!

Look at the bright side, this is the perfect opportunity to upgrade! That's the approach I took to my car after my mishap and although its taken a lot longer than I expected to get it back on the road, it'll be much better and faster in the long run!

Good luck with it man!

Ernan, thank you.

I've been noticing some bad **** with my car as well, and I think I might be in the same boat as you...I'm going to have to tear my engine apart this evening and see what's what....

Just reading your post makes me cringe, knowing that the exact same issues have been happening with my car...

my rear end is also shot as i found out the other night....this is gonna cost me some $$$
