I see that some people have got a low Priorirty # but their order # was high.I assume if your order # is high you might still not get the car early as ford told me......I see lots of people with their Priority # but you will also need a lowwww order # to get the car i was told...
My Priority# is 10
and Order # is C000
Called ford up and they told me that the first letter will be from the salesman that took the order and the 4 numbers after that tells you where you are in line for a car.
Ford told me the dealer can start with a 000 or 001 as the first car that they are getting.......
So all you good folks waiting i hope you have a LOWWWWW order # besides a low Priority # also....Johnny

Well ford motor company told me that they go by the Prioirty #(mine is 10)
And they also told me that they go by the Order# also(mine is C000)
They said the dealer starts the numbering at 000 or 001 its up to the dealer.
Ford told me the Lower the numbers the better chance of getting the Car.
If anyone know different please let us know....
I thought they only went with the Prioirty # but now i am hearing its the order # too...Its getting very confusing.Johnny

The dealer's order number has nothing to do with when it will actually be built, their order number is how they run their own business. The priority code is where something gets scheduled into Ford's order bank. Yes, the highest priority code a dealer can assign is 10. Thus if your is 11 you're the second guy from that dealer.

My dealer confirmed what you posted. Priority 10 is what I was assigned. My order number is S009 which was the dealer's internal stock tracking number.

Its funny my dealer told me my Prioirty is #10
And they told me that i was the only one ordering a 2006 Stang from them and that was on 7/07/05
Then i got my dora saying my Order Number is C000 and someone that works for a big ford dealer on another ford website told me that if you are ordering a car from Ford they will Start at 000 or 001 as the first cars that they will get in first.
I call Ford Motor Company #1800 up and they told me the same thing.....
I am sure lots of you had High Order #s but i am not sure if you got them at X-plans???Johnny

Just one of the neat things I've learned this summer during my internship for Uncle Bill.

Check out http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=569363 for those of you waiting. I can't do much really, but I can lean on some of the people I work for...sorta
