anyone else ever have this problem, my brother bought a set of those mac upper and lower control arms off ebay new for his 92 mustang gt, when trying to install them it seems the lowers aren't long enough to reach the rear end tried jacking rear, and jacking control arm all with no success

Are the old and mac ones the same size. I can't see how they would not fit unless they are for a different car.

yeah thats whats getting me, i already threw the passenger side out so i can't compare until i get the driverside out, but i think 1EVIL88VERT has a good point once it stops raining here im going to try his advice, pretty sure these are for the 86-93 mustang so i don't know. It's like the driveshaft is about 2 inches to far away now

k well figured it out, i had to remove the quad shocks and the rear struts in order to get the rearend to drop low enough to reach the control arms. Basically what happens is the quad shock maxes out on it travel and holds the rearend up, same with the y axis travel on the rear strut.

Anyway thats for all the help guys appreciate all the replies.
