Lower Control Arms???

Going to buy a set of lower control arms. Anyone have the BBK GRIPP lower control arms? Opinions?

Also, anyone have the Maximum Motorsports non-adjustable lower control arms? Opinions?

Car is for street use, will not see the track.

frm everything ive read mm is the way to go.
bbk reputation isnt that good, so don't know if id go with bbk with your car!

I'm just considering the BBK as I have BBK springs and they have been good. I like the ride height and the ride.

I have Griggs, haven't put them on yet that comes tomorrow. Whatever you do just DONT get Granatelli.

i have MM non adj. and i love them. i noticed a huge difference compared to the stockers.i probable should of bought the weight jackers they sell, but i didnt want to mess with the pinion angle. i looked at them because of the adj ride hieght, but i just bought the non adj. i would spend the extra $ for the MM. either way any aftermarket control arms will help you out a lot

my MM non-adjustable LCAs just arrived yesterday so I can't tell you how well they work but they sure look cool!

If you are using the car for only street use I would recommend the pro3i street arms. They use a 3 piece patent pending poly-ball bushing combination which will eliminate the fore and aft movement but still allow the arm to articulate (rotate) so it doesn't bind. If you wanted one step up they also have the street/race arms which have the poly-ball bushing on the chassis side and Teflon lined spherical bearing on the chassis side. i'm using the pro3i arms, and they're a carbon copy of the mm arms, and work great at a less price......

nothing wrong imo with bbk stuff, but I'm not a fan of their "grip" lineup, as everything I've seen used from their quadrants to subframe connectors to shortthrow shifters were all far below the quality of other producers such as mm.

whatever you run, all you have to worry about is for a street car a spherical bushing at one end, and a poly bushing at the other.

Whats wrong with the Granatelli ones? I was just about to order the weightjacker lowers that you can adjust the ride height.

Granatelli = critical suspension pieces breaking at really bad moments.

Wasn't there a post not too long back about someone whose Granatelli arm(s) broke while driving around and it either caused a wreck, or nearly did? Rear end just squatted down all of a sudden, laying the rear inner fender right on the tire, and it spun 'im around. Bad stuff.

You may notice a little difference with just the lower arms (I have Steedas) but the big difference will come when you replace the uppers too. My 5.0 feels like it's on rails now and just as soon as I get some stickies we'll find out how it does in a straight line too.
