3-4 inch drop ?

I have H&R SS springs and i know they settle to about 2 inches of a drop but how can i get more without cutting the springs? I want to be at like a 3-4 inch drop. how are coil over springs different from the ones i have? can min be used as coilovers? any tricks to using my springs to drop it that far? How bad would it be to cut the spring? any help or suggestions would be nice. by they way i havent bought shocks or anything yet if that helps just the springs and they arent installed or opened yet

you can lower it a little more with the steeda x2 ball joint in the front & if you look around a little, you can find some adjustable lca's that can lower the rear a little as well. hope it helps

the real issue just becomes your spring has X amount of travel. if you remove all of that you just dont have suspention. if you don't have suspention you can not aborb anything in a corner. going more than 2" in a spring is not good. 2" drop is really too much in a spring but you can get away with it if you don't mind sacrificing a bit of handling. the right way would be like 2" spindle (I don't know of any company that makes one but have never looked) then 1 inch spring. Coilovers are a good way to adust your ride hieght but there are expesive and I am not sure that you can drop 3-4" with those. seems like you would just not have any sprink left they would be compressed so far. if you really don't car about handling you can just cut the springs. most places would then have a hard time alining your car. I am not sure if CC plates would alow for proper alinment at that drop. someone else might know.
