Lowered Car rubs entering/exiting parking lots

Help me please! Does anybody else have a problem with their car after it's lowered rubbing like crazy coming out/entering parking lots? I installed a set of Eibach Pros and the car bottoms out terrible. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

The second part of this is that my current tires are 1" shorter than stock height (255/45/17 = 26" tire on a 9" rim), which probably doesn't help the situation at all! So I'm wondering if I went back to a 27" tire, if I'm still going to have a problem with bottoming out.

Your thoughts and opinions will be appreciated.

No problems and I have the Eibach Sportlines and live in the state with the worst roads in the union (don't even try to argue that until you come drive for 10 minutes down here lol). I have a 27" tall tire up front and a 28" tall tire out back.

Friend of mine had an 05 mustang (went to an 03 cobra) and had sportlines and a 25.7" tire up front and a 26.x" tire out back and didn't have any bottoming out issues either.

I would suggest either going with a 27" tall tire or just going slower when entering parking lots. Also try going in at an angle and it WILL help.

Definitely a larger tire needed. No need having tires shorter than stock. I also have 27" up front and 28"+ out back and no issues here. Haven't driven a whole lot yet, though.

Actual measurements

Went and took some actual measurements at the car tonight.

Actual tire height from driveway to top of tire = 25-1/4"
Height of bottom of fender right behind front wheel down to driveway = 4"

Yep, I think it's taller tires that are needed. Heck may as well order the chrome 18x9 and 18x10 FR500's that I want, oh yeah, and the taller tires too!

Got the wheels from www.dynojoe.com and from what I can tell, they are the same as DarkFireGT (same center cap). The box says "Wheel Replicas"

The sizes are 18x9 up front and 18x10 out back

I am running a Falken Azenis "something or other"(lol) 255/45/18 up front and Nitto 555 295/45/18 out back.

I don't have any problems bottoming out at home in or around DC, but I'm not lowered. I don't see many places where I would. A lot will probably have to do with how the parking lots are built in your area. In most places I have seen where I work in LA and Anaheim, there are usually large inclines at the parking lots that I can see would pose a problem for cars that aren't lowered.

Yea my car rubs pretty easy with FRPP springs. I can finesse the car out of driveways but speed bumps are a problem. It also scrapes the gaurd rails around the oil pit too.

The LT's are the main problem, but I have also scraped the cat-back pipes as well.

I always go out of steep driveways at an angle and never have much problem even with a chin spoiler but find myself avoiding places that I know have speed bumps.

I'm lowered on prokits and have 275/40-18s so it sits fairly low but I rarely ever rub, even with a GT500 front lip. Then again I've owned a number of lowered cars, two of which couldn't get over speedbumps without scraping.

I have sportlines, with 265/35/18 up front, and 285/35/18 out back, and i definitely scrape on certain bumps and speed bumps. I've noticed that coming into a parking lot crooked, or going over a speed bump diagonal really helps.

I have about 4 3/4" of front ground clearance being lowered 1.6" in the front, CDC Classic chin spoiler and 27" tire. I scrape quite a bit, but I'm going slowly when I do so it just pushes the spoiler up a bit. Standing at the front you can't see any damage, but run your hand under there and you will feel how rough it is I avoid most entrances/exits from shopping centers that are steep(which isn't that many)and when I see something like that, I go diagonal whenever possible.

I scrub all the time! I got used to identifying when I will scrub on steep entrances and stuff so no more problems there...enter them at an angle and real slow
