Ok for Christmas I got a set of Maxspeed (ebay special) lowering springs. Put em on, and ta-da! Now my car is not a 4x4 anymore. The install was very easy, took 4 hours, me and dad did it, if we had to do it again tomrrow, it would prolly take less than 2 hours. Here's the install pics, and before and after pics.

Right Here You Can See That The Drivers Side Rear Spring Was Broken, and Looks Like It Was Broken For A While

well i havent got the front aligned YET, but its straight as an arrow. I'm NOT gonna get new CC plates, but i do need an alignment, the bottom on my wheels stick out more than the top, and you can REALLY see it.

this is why you need c/c plates man...your alignment will never be good w/o em...anything more than 1.5 inches and u really need em

lowering the car made such a big difference in handling over my worn out blow suspension to compare to before when i bought the car. i reccomend adjustable shocks to everyone too, its nice to be able to set it right where you like it. i have strange adjustables all the way around and man when i turn the settings up the car feels like it really wants to handle

i second the c/c plates and get that alignment as soon as you can. a guy i know lowered his civic and stupidly let his car eat through 9 tires before he decided to get some c/c plates and get it aligned.

glad you were able to lower it--looks a crapload better... no more 4x4, hehe.

yeah i would suggest getting struts and cc plates atleast new struts before the alignment or you'll be paying twice. When i got mine aligned after my suspension stuff it was so far off it cost me almost 200 bucks just a heads up that it might cost a litle more after changing ****
