lowering and headlight question

My 2002 has a 1.5 inch drop when i got it. I have noticed that the headlights at night dont go out very far at all. I have to turn on my high beams to have the normal low beam travel. And nobody flashes me when i do drive around with my high beams, so it must not my head thinking this up. For all the people with lowered cars, did it affect your headlights shining? Did you have to adjust your headlights up a little? Just curious if somebody before me messed with the headlights or maybe it was wrecked.

i never have thought of it really haha. mine only lowered to maybe 1 1/4 inch...but i'm not sure how much the headlights might be affected.
i actually do get flashed at night sometimes (no brights not on)....not sure why though. it's pretty annoying.

yes, you may need to adjust your headlights after lowering. pretty simple to do.
the headlight "up/down" adjustment is a little hole, that into it fits a 1/4 inch hex key. turn your headlights on, and spin it in a direction, you'll notice that headlight either getting higher or lower. fiddle around until you have it perfected.

When I lowered my car it didn't seem to affect the headlights. When I changed my headlights out to "smoked" ones, I did have to readjust them. It was a peice of cake.

Headlights are adjustable up and down only.

thats a bummer that you cant adjust side to side....cuz with my aftermarket clear corners, the beams from each side cross paths in an X pattern only 30 feet in front of the car
