I am doing 4.10's, h&r ss springs, strange shocks/struts, steeda full length subframe connectors all at once is this a good idea? should i save up and do upper and lower control arms? does it matter if i just do lower control arms and not uppers? should i also to steeda ball joints, strut tower brace, g-trac bar, and rear sway bar at once with everything else? any of these a waste of money?

I've been doing a lot of research on suspension in the past months, from what little i have gleaned doing all at once will just give that much more of an impact when done. as far as the upper and lower control arms, its yourr call..... where do you want to go with the mustang? I personally am doing coilovers, subframes, torque arm, road race lower control arms, pan hard bar, and calling it quits on suspension.

I'm going all maximum motorsports for all this. I just like the idea of a company completely dedicated to mustang suspension... just gives me a better feel then an all around mustang company like steeda. that and I've never heard of an unhappy MM customer. if you get the lower control arms, pan hard, and torque arm bars, with full length subframes you will not have a need for upper control arms, and would have the best possible rear end suspension. hope i have passed on some good info for you to ponder.

yes, what are you doing with your mustang? the gears, springs, struts, and SFC are a great start. I would do UCA/LCA next. If you're just dragging your car you don't need a STB, gtrac bar or rear sway. Get a panhard bar and torque arm instead. Looks like you're going to need C/C plates as well..

a all-purpose racer basically right? hehhe, i know. LCA and UCA's are definitely in your future then. STB and g-trac bar doesn't hurt but rather spend the cash on a panhard bar. Like i said, looks like you're going to need c/c plates. good luck.

I talked with a guy at Steeda that told me the bumpsteer kit and X2 balljoints are more important than the C/C plates when lowering the car with Steeda Sport springs. I can see why, considering the drop ain't that agressive.

If I go with eibach pro-kit + tokico 5-way shocks/struts + MM C/C plates, would the bumpsteer kit and X2 balljoint be necessary at all?

If you're planning to do the springs and shocks at the same time and you have the extra cash then I'd go ahead and do the UCA's and LCA's at the same time since you'll have everything taken apart. Even though the UCA's are a PITA I would definitely recommend replacing those as they are real crap stock parts. Replacing both will keep your axle from moving around as much and will help you with either road racing or at the track.
