I need to here from people with KYB gas a just rear and GR-2 fronts. I am looking at the Steeda sport springs. I don't have C/C plates and will be adding offset rack bushings. My 95 GT Vert will see street duty only and I want an aggressive stance. A firm ride does not bother me. Please let me know what you guys think!!!

Thanks

I have H&R Super Sports
2 inches in the front
1.6 in the back

I jsut did the KYB combination and the FMS C-Springs.

I scrape the speed bums at work if I do not go over at an angle and very slow.

The rear is not low enough for the front (the front of my vert lowered a good 1.5" with the C-springs) so in a couple more weeks (1500 miles on it) I'll pull and cut down the rear springs a bit to get teh extra 3/4" or so I need to match heights.

my front tire to wheel well is about 2", in the back it is about 3".

But I want to wait a few more miles before I chop the rear springs to bring the back down a bit just in case it settles in enough with a few more miles on it (the instructions tell you how much to cut for an approximate additional drop).

i had eibach prokit on my last mustang, handled alot better and i never scrapped. it dropped it about 1.5 all the way around.

i have the ford c-springs on this car, scrap a bit everyonce in a while. i like the stance from both of them.

is 2 inches too much for front ?? You're in Ontario so our roads are similar so did you scrapped your bumper yet ? :)

honestly i wouldn't go any lower than that. I never scrape the bumper, just the skirt :D and even then I only do it on really bad speed bumps or driveways.
i wouldn't have gotten anything else, these are the springs i wanted. :nice:

94-302-Vert can you post pics of your ride. When you say level the ride does the rear sit higher than the front. I wont a little rake from front to back.

I got a 2 inch drop in the front and 1.6 in the rear.
here's a better angle shot
you can see the difference in the wheels... it's also on grass too :p

Caldwell,

Do you have stock shocks and struts? What about C/C Plates? Are the springs the race set MM has listed on the site for Verts?

I didn't change a thing other than the springs :D
with the verts there aren't that many springs available.
i only found eibach pro kits, not the sportlines
and only the h&r super sports. not the race springs.
for some reason the verts don't have the spring variety

i wanted sportlines (same drop) but i called the company and they said they aren't made for the verts.
i didn't settle with h&r
i love my springs :nice:

Pss.....Fox guy here, about to consider springs.......I wanted to buy the MM Sport springs for my car, but I am worried about destruction of what little ride quality my car has. So, how's the ride after change? How's handling/braking? Were you able to maintain camber w/o CC plates? I live in NJ and our roads are like the dark side of the moon, but with more potholes
:canada: ,eh?
