Who runs drag springs in here? I know alot of people drop their car, but who actually puts drag springs on and runs their car as a daily driver? Any comparison? Are lowering springs more for handling and drag for drag? Do lowering springs give u a better launch? thnx jd

lowering springs are usually stiffer and dont allow as much wieght transfer. drag springs are usually softer and allow more wieght transfer

My buddy put the eibach drag launch kit on his '01GT convertible and it lowered his car ~1/2. I've put off lowering my car as I don't want the 60' to suffer. Coil-overs may be the answer to having the best of both worlds given the right spring rates.

I just have a daily driver but don't want to lower it because of where I live. I am really looking into the Drag Launch springs. What are the pros and cons? How do they ride and handle in relation to my stock springs?

I have a 94 cobra and have the eibach drag launch springs. I like them they are nice and soft close to stock. they didn't really lower my car at all it actaully raised my rear end a little. I had eibach sportline springs in a 93 cobra before and i would prefer the drag launch. it's a nicer ride and also it's totally streetable. to get the best results go with a 70/30 front shock for max weight transfer.

i got a set of drag launch springs going in when i get to it. If I don't like the ride height, i'm going to cut a tiny bit off the coil to get it where I like. I know the effect of the drag set up with be lessened but i figure they'd still be better than the truck height of stock or stiff lowering springs.
