as long as you dont need to adjust pinion angle for anything, yes. the lowers will help out traction. adding an UCA (there is only one) will add more benefit, but you wont be hurting anything by not upgrading it at the same time. i have not upgraded my UCA yet.

good question I was pondering getting the billet steeda LCA and I was wondering about the importance of swapping the UCA as well. I think I'll mess with that later if at all.

I just got done with $2100 worth of suspension stuff (roush kit, LCA's). I think the upper control arm is a race only thing.
I doubt if you would need it on the street.
If your lowered and have a street strip car or a track car you may want to look into it for launch adjustment, but you'd probably be better ahead with other suspension mods before you got to this step, if you are racing.
For a street car in my opinion the upper control arm falls under the "not needed" catagory.

That's what I was thinking too. I think i'll save up for some Nice steeda billet LCA's and call it a day.
If there is one thing I learned from owning my 240SX it was that you really don't need adjustable stuff. I had a fully adjustable suspension setup which cost quite a bit and in the end after I took the car to the track once or twice and found a good setup I never touched it since. If you do homework and get non adjustable parts that give you the ride/handling you want you can save yourself some serious cash and not have to worry about tightening/adjusting anything every x amount of miles.
