 major low numbers, with my current (for now) NON PI motor with my bolt-ons listed in my sig, my car made 238hp and 268tq. That is with my aode trans too, I think my numbers are in the upper teer for non PI cars that still have the stcok heads and cams like mine does. your numbers are a mystery was this a regular dyno or a Mustang dyno? Mine was on a regular dyno and I have been told mustang dynos show much lower numbers than regular dynojets. Oh yea hopeing for another 60-80 at the wheels with the new motor, heads and cams listed as my NEW FOR DECEMBER stuff. :D

So was the other dyno on the NON PI motor

I assume your talking to me, yes my 238 was made on my orginal non PI motor with all my bolt-ons I have now (longtubes, hpipe, flowmasters, pulleys,PI intake conversion, diablo chip ect.....) I am still waiting for the final touches to be put on the new PI motor before I take my car over to the shop and drop it off for the new PI motor to be put in, and like I said after the new one is installed we are hopeing for an additional 60+ after the new motor is tuned, this is done at the dyno shop where my chip burning and dyno runs are both done.

98 black magics car was probally run on a standard chassis dyno where the "low" car was run on a mustang dyno.. the mustang dyno will read lower because it's a different type of dyno.. the mustang dyno takes weight into account.. they make it harder too spin the dyne so the power output is lower.

Did you just go for straight dyno numbers or did they do a tune also? I got my Mach dynoed and tuned at Blood's. They installed a bung and adjusted the AFR and played with the spark advance also with my Predator. I was happy with the results. I figure on a Dynojet I'm pushing 300 at the rears with not much for mods. Oops, double post.

Wait, something isnt right. You didnt even gain 20RWHP. In reality, you should be dynoing VERY close to or at 270RWHP on that dyno...about like crzyhrse's mach.

Something isnt right, whats the A/F and stuff look like?

Oh yea....6700 is too high for your rev limit IMHO. Set it down to 6500(where mines at). When your approaching 6500, spun rod bearings become a problem. Keep an eye on your oil...low oil is what usually causes the bearings to spin, and these engines use alot of oil at RPMs like that.

yep standard chassis dyno, my numbers are still impressive for a non PI car on a chassis dyno:D . Dont you think?

No Problem dude. Congrats on the high numbers. :( My car does scream pretty good though. Just doesnt put down high numbers which sucks. haha I guess it doesnt really matter though

Always remember the dyno is just a tool to measure a cars power numbers, what it does on the street/track:rolleyes: is where it really matters. And of course you being happy with your car is the BOTTOM LINE, if your happy nothing else matters PERIOD. :)
