Ok so I dont have alot to spend on the stang but I was wanting to get a set of long tubes with matching h or x pipe and was thinking of the Flotechs that 50resto offers if I cant find a set on e-bay. I know that you get what you pay for but sometimes you actually get a good deal on some good equipment. These are around 350.00 for the set. Performance wise are they any good? They are 1 5/8" equal length primaries and that price is going with non ceramic coating. I want to get started on the stang and after buying a tuner that is all I will have left to spend for a long while on anything but upkeep for it.

Thanks,
Nate

pypes stainless steel headers. best value, and wont rust. then just get get a cheap o/r midpipe

ur looking at like 400 bucks for lts and midpipe. then u SHOULD get aftermarket gaskets and locking headerbolts. that will be about 500 bucks when all said and done.

if u instal urself ur looking at about a case of beer for ur troubles and 2 days lost. 5-700 if a shop does it

Speaking from experience, I would definitely recommend headers that are coated in order to prevent heat loss. This 'can' cause issues with tuning later on down the road. In my case, the loss of back pressure from running an offroad pipe combined with uncoated headers caused the O2 sensors to not provide the proper feedback.
