Have been doing some research on which LT headers to get and have narrowed it down to these two, I would like to hear some of your thoughts. Most of the old threads knock pypes for fitment, but I understand those issues have been resolved.
So Pypes with an off road X pipe or Mac with an off road prochamber? Also is it worth spending the extra on the prochamber or just go with a traditional X? Any power differences? Lastly any ideas on what my gains would be with my current mods? Thanks to all who reply, the information is always appreciated.

Your cams should work way better with LTs for sure. I just installed Pypes Lts with a hf catted H pipe. The install went flawlessly......well not counting operator error, the pypes fit perfectly. No issues at all. Love the tone/sound they have now. Its deep, really deep and throaty, that old school muscle sound. At the track, my times improved by nearly two tenths and 1.6 mph.

Buy them from brenspeed $679 and get the new tune for free!! Here is a vid clip of the tone.

Good luck.....patrick

Car sounds great, ViperNuge!. Is another 15rwhp from the LTs realistic?

I have the MAC LT and the Prochambers. I love it. It just gets louder each day it seems. I have about the same mods as you minus the cams and the DP, so I'd imagine you'd be putting about 330 rwhp down after getting the MAC + Prochambers. The Prochambers sound really good on our cars, so I'm giving them the endorsement.

Anybody know if the prochamber is much of a gain over a traditional off road X pipe? Seems like it is an easy way to save $200 by staying with just an X. One last thing, are you able to keep either the Macs or Pypes in place for a clutch change?

I'm on the fence about this too, except I am for bbk or pypes.. leaning more towards the pypes. The combo deal for pypes LTs + xipe at AM.com is very tempting especially with the code if I can ever find it haha. I hear good things about the pypes.. more than the MACs. I say pypes!
