Luggage Rack?

How do I remove the luggage rack off my convert. trunk? I wanted to remove all bars except the ones on the far sides so it almost looks like a spoiler.. haha

I am painting soon so I was curious before I dove into the project.

i just drilled them out. kind of a pain to do. i would not do it until you are goin to paint it, cuz you are gonna have a good amount of ugly holes back there (i think you could tow the car by the 'ribs' on the luggage rack).

I'm not sure, but if I were you I'd out a spoiler back there before the paint job, either a Saleen or the 93 S.E. wing, because they look naked without it IMO.
