i was thinking about getting some...what do u guys think? oh yah if u know anything about them do u know if i could use these light bulbs as blinker lights to or just as the headlights bulb??

they're not very bright in comparison to silverstars...
because of the amount of color, not much light actually gets on the road.... but they look decent when you're outside the car. cant even compare to the color of HID's though. I would recommend something more like MTEC bulbs if you want an aftermarket blue-ish hue bulb..... or Sylvania Silverstars if you're more interested in just lighting up the road more clearly.

the turn signal is a completely different bulb type than the headlight bulb. luminics does not make turn signal bulbs as far as i know.

Are you actually running luminics bulbs??? I have the Ultra Violets in my Audi with Yellow fogs and they are wicked bright. Far brighter than the Silverstars I had.

I really like Luminics bulbs. No fading if you have colored bulbs like other companies.

ultra violets might be a little different. dont have any experience with those......but the pure blues are pretty dim. i had them in the fogs and the light looked like stock creamy yellow hue with speckled blue tones in it. I also had their yellow bulbs in the fogs as well, and they looked alright, but again...still that creamy yellow hue with scattered bright yellow frags of light everywhere. (probably due to the size and shape of the 893 bulb)

an audi is whole different story...from experience, i've found that different bulb types play a big role in the light emitted. our 893 fog light bulbs seem pretty weak in comparison to most cars' fog light bulbs. Also, the Audi headlight and foglight housings probably project the light with more percision than ford can do it... im just pointing out that most blue tinted bulbs in our headlight and foglight housings are pretty dim...

I had the Ultra Whites on my car for headlight and fogs. They still have a bit of blue in them and the lighting was not any better than stock.

I got so fed up of the horrible lighting that I took a chance and installed a HID kit. Finally, I see the light. And no they don't blind anyone. I aimed them lower than the book specs and all my friends agree they aren't annoying.

If you want to get them for the color go for it but not if your expecting better lighting.

well i kinda wanted lights with a blueish shade to them but i also want to light up the road more....so you think mtec would be a good choice?

oh dang. i would expect better lighting..thats great advice...thanks...so u think the HID would be my best choice?

good comparison pics. i like the way those ultra whites look good :nice:

and yes, an HID kit would be your best bet. brightest with as much color as you want depending on the temperature. i have them in the headlights and fogs after trying out all sorts of regular bulbs. you wont be disappointed.
