Your car squats down very low in the rear. What are your leafs?

I run a 5 leaf reverse eye and even on launch my rear end doesn't get much lowere than when it is sitting there. 620lb front coils as well.

try a pic or two

I am running 5 leaf standard eye with 620 front coils. Maybe the leaf springs are tired already? They are about six years old. Like you I am balancing being able to drive on the steet as well as weekend drag races. I am launching with no transbrake and at about 2000 rpm with 4.11 gears and a 1.67 60'. I do spin a lot off the line, but I thought it was due to more to tires than anything else. Last week I broke an under rider traction bar which was mainly due to a bad weld, but showed me how much the housing is trying to rotate. Who does make the best leaf springs that will work on both the street and the track?

You have a sway bar in back? That will also stiffin it up a little, I do.

My 5 leafs are just about three years old and they came from Mustangs plus. Very stiff on the street.

Who knows who really makes them? Grab a trak?

Good 60' times, what is your stall?

Nice! Any idea when it might be running? Did you see Bsharer's pics? His downpipe goes oval to get under the cross member? Big oval pipe = $$$$$, but good for ground clearance. Have you had it all in the car to see how much ground clearance you'll have?

I did have a sway bar but it kept moving side to side banging into the frame (irritating noise) so I took it back out. Maybe I installed the bar wrong but everything lined up correctly. I do remember the car rode very rough with it installed. Current stall is 2800 rpm, which it was 3500 but it was too much for everyday street use.
