It's well made but the sound is too quiet for my liking. My old system was louder and throatyer (is that a word? lol) . Should have left it alone. Big disappointment. Time to try something else. Any other recommendations. :nonono:  :bang: :bs: :notnice: :damnit: :fuss:

Take the tail pipes off and add turn downs> it will make it louder. I have the mac Long tubes and mac pro-chamber with mac dumps the car sounds real mean and is very loud.

Just got the Bassani cat back BX series ( BX series is 300 bucks cheaper!) Im not gonna have it till tomorrow though,Im also having torque box reinforcements welded in! Cant wait to hear it!!

I disagree, I have the MAC Cat back on my car behind the MAC off road x-pipe, love the sound, and the fit is awesome, the catback is extremely easy to install. I highly recommend it. Its the loudest Cat back I've heard on a stock engine. IDK I love it, but I would like to hear Edelbrock's mufflers on a non catted car.

mac long tubes 2.5" offroad h-pipe mac muffs and chrome tails, best sounding stang in town.

Edelbrock perf. RPM 55cc heads, 10.5-1, NX 150hp wet, 70mm mac t-b,73maf, b303, mac upper&lower control arms and f/b springs, ported stock upper/lower, 3:73's love my mac products!

Even though most of MAC parts are crap...the exhaust does sound good...the quality is a differents story but than again flowmaster isn't any better...for that matter I don't think any exhaust setup would be for under $300...I have not heard HOOKER Aerochamber mufflers on a 5.0 but they did sound cool on a V6 stang...AND the quality was amazing...BTW: those mufflers (hooker) flow 500+cfm a piece...

The Magnaflow kit for my GT cost 300 from brothers. And if ya didnt know, the mufflers are stainless. Ive had them for maybe 2 years or something like that, dont exactly remmeber and they still have a really nice shine to them. Theyve also seen 2 pretty bad NY winters, so theyve seen the good and the bad.

Was not aware of that...Are the megnaflows straight through mufflers or are they chambared? If there is an exhaust setup out there that has the tone of Flows, with the quality of Bassani under $400.00 I'm definately up for it...but till than the sound of Flows is what I am going after...even though the quality should deserve some special attention...
