My car has a MAC catback on it from the previous owner and Im having some issues with it. First off, it doesnt rattle or bang around so thats good. However, the passenger side pipe that goes over the axle is rubbing the control arm and the brake lines. The control arm I can deal with but I do not want it touching those brake lines at all, I have heard stories about them rubbing through and that would suck. I have loosened the bolts and tried to adjust it, but it will hardly move. If anyone has had this problem and knows how I can go about adjusting it I would appreciate it.

I'd spray the joints with PB Blaster and let it soak for 15 mins or so, then try moving the pipes.

Everything moves fine, I just cant find a way to adjust it without hitting anything. One way or another its hitting something. was just wondering if anyone had the same issue with this catback and what they did to fix it.

It will fit you just have to work with it. The rear suspension of my car is completely different then a stock mustang (nothing is located in the original places) and I got my MAC catback to fit just fine. I had to get under there about 4 or 5 times but it all fits perfect now. Now if I can just get the damn tailpipes to stop coming loose.
