Anyone know if Mac has fixed their supposed quality issues? Anyone have the new ceramic coated LT's? Install problems? Any problems?

Ive read plenty of negative feedback about Mac quality and the oil consumption issue with 4V's, but how much of it is internet heresay from people just regurgitating what they read on forums? Can some people that actually have Macs chime in?

Their ceramic LTs are $100 cheaper than BBKs and dont have that stupid crimp in the drivers side headers for the steering rack. Speaking of their new ceramic coating, does it acutally hold up or does it flake like that HTS crap?

Thanks bishes :SNSign:

Noob gave you the cold shoulder

I'd stick with what's proven. Ask your pimp, jason, for some money and buy Bassani, or Hookers. Don't have to remove the passenger side to do tranny work :nice:

he wasnt talking about my sig douche. As far as the steamer, the cost varies. Would you like corn with that?

I picked up a set when they were on sale here during easter. They seem to be of good quality, but I haven't used them yet. They're sitting on my bedroom floor..

And corn please.. :)

there were issues with 4v.. I have seen threads started by people who did have problems with the wedling quality in the LTs. But for the 2v's there are PLENTY of people who are using their LT's with no problems. I'd still take SLP over em though :) but that's just personal preference

yeah, Im still keeping SLP open as an option. I already have their mid-pipe, I just hate how low the cats hang.

You're lowered right? Any problems scraping the headers?

I use to have MAC LT's, non ceramics. And well, now lets just say I have BBK's and couldnt be happier, haha. The MAC's were junk, had leaks, ticking, idle was off - just wasnt happy with them. Some people have good luck with them, others dont. I then had BBK's put in, installed by the same person, and all the above problems went away. And I dont have the ceramic BBk's either, I have the chrome. No problems thus far, still look new.

And I am lowered 1.6 up front. Havent scraped yet in Chicago, just have to be a little more cautious.
