mac has made these new xpipes that have a box looking thing in the middle of it that gives off the appearance of a cat converter. but it is hollow. mac claims these make more horsepower and have louder sound than standard hpipes or xpipes on the market. anyone have any experience with them?
I have a friend with one on his 95 GTS. It is a very good midpipe. It also makes for an aweeeeeeesome sound. The center box allows for the exhaust gases to cross and flow more freely. The power gains have been higher than on regular X or H pipes.
I love it! It sounds really really sweet. It is very easy to install and the pipe comes with all studs and nuts. However, once in your O2 sensors and the box part of the pipe are really close to the driveshaft, but nothing has happened yet. I give it
