I recently put on a Mac cat back system for my 2000 mustang 3.8. It sounds good, but I decided to go ahead and get an h pipe for it to make it true dual exhaust. I have 2 questions, 1 how loud will it be without the cats. 2 will I have to kill the O2 sensors or will the be fine plugged in? it has 2 places where they plug in. If I do need to kill them, how do I do it.

1) It will sound louder.

2) Depends if you get the off-road H pipe or not, which will require you get the O2 eliminators. You want the eliminators as it will cause your computer to throw a code and result in emission montoring/correction problems.

an X pipe will make it even louder. You will probably get a 1-2 hp gain going X over H. However, the X is really freakin loud. I'm about to take my new laptop out and get an audio clip of mine *yay!*
