MAC headers, prochambers + Roushcharger?

I didn't think UD pulleys would work with a supercharger

first, dont do the pulley. it will actually slow down the supercharger. it is going to lower the boost.

second, i would look into some other superchargers. you could spend the same amount of money and get something better.

third, i would get some better quality headers. go with a company like kooks, stainless works, etc. you get what you pay for.

and as long as you get a good tune you will be fine under 10lbs. of boost. good luck with your purchase.

I agree with finding another supercharger, but there is nothing wrong with MAC long tubes that I'm aware of. Everyone that I have talked to that has them likes them. Also, you can't beat the sound of a all MAC setup.

have you tried to put them in a car yet. not very fun. the kooks go in much easier, look better over time, and i believe they are made better. yes they cost alot, but the MAC's on foxbodies. i just think the drone to much on the new cars.

I helped install them on a buddies car. They seemed to be no harder than any other long tube install I have done. I did not put them on my car but did the install on a friend of mines 2005. There was absolutely no drone with his setup. The prochamber smoothed out the mac mufflers and all that was left was a smooth growl. I actually liked installing them more than installing a set of JBA's I put on another friends car.

As far as them lasting a long time, if you get a good ceramic coat put on them they last just as long as any other head will. The only thing you loose with say a set of mac's is primary size and flow on a FI vehicle. If you plan on going FI you are going to need something with larger primarys like a set of American Racing Heads, JBA's, Kooks, etc.
