i have the opportunity to purchase some mac L/T ceramic coated headers brand new in the box from a friend for $300. is that a good bargain? And how are the fitment of these?

IMO MAC LT's are among the best headers for Mustangs, period. In fact, the ceramic MAC LT's are currently on back order for 6 months due to sheer demand. They are also among the best-fitting longtubes for new edge mustangs. $300 is a damn steal, TAKE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mac prochamber or the o/r h-pipe?
which ones better? sound and performance wise

I had an MAC O/R H pipe with stock manifolds and it sounded pretty good. I switched to an O/R prochamber with the LT's and it sounds orgasmic. The prochamber is about $75 more than the O/R H, so if you dont mind shelling out a little more money, definitely go with a prochamber.
