I ordered Mac LT headers over a month ago and there is still no estimated ship date for them. I ordered from Mustangs Unlimited. When the heck is Mac going to ship their headers? Every place I look they seem to be out of stock.

Cancel that order and order some BBK L/T's. They are more expensive but they will last longer, ship faster (assuming they're in stock) and they won't pull oil from your engine and burn it up.

I would but it seems that mac are the only ones that will fit an automatic.

Any of them will fit an auto if you move one of the O2 bungs, honestly. I don't like the BBK headers personally, because for some reason they felt it necessary to crimp some of the tubes to get around the steering shaft, when noone else has to. Just poor engineering IMHO. The welds are also pretty crappy on the 2 sets I've seen.

I've done quite a bit of research on most of the LT's out there (because they're my next mod) and they all will fit an auto just fine (I have an auto too)

I can say the last set of bbk headers I bought (fox 351 swap) needed A LOT of clean up to fix the welds (slopy) and make the presentable. They also had bad jig clamp crimps in the metal. Look like chit. Doesn't matter too much on a mod b/c they are hidden but were very very visable on a fox and looked bad.

Just curious as to why you'd want headers to look "presentable"? It isn't like anyone can see them

I have never had a problem with my Mac LT's causing oil loss??? 32V's do burn a little oil, but mine hasn't increased after the LT install....
