Hey all....sort of intruiged by the idea of running dumps....actually its so i can put a wider tire on the back....with 275's i hit the tailpipes sometimes. I am looking for opinions, and if anyone has pics of the installed produmps please post or email me.
Thanks
-John

I used to run the produmps, but I am back with the tailpipes. It is odd that your pipes are rubbing with the 275/40 tire. I am running 17-10.5 with 275 Kumhos on the back and have plenty of clearance.

The dumps sound good, but they are just too much of an attraction. You will recieve a lot of drone at around 1200-1500 rpm. It is your call. If you don't like it you can always go back with tailpipes.
Sorry I don't have any pictures of the dumps.

I think that pro-dumps are illegal in some states as they dump the fumes just before the rear axle and therefore puts the fume emissions beneath the passenger compartment. I could be wrong though.

I have the Mac cat-back and I took my tail pipes off. I didn't do it to really gain any power or sound but because I got tired of polishing them and whenever I backed out of steep driveways, I would always scrape them.

My 99 had dumps on it when I got it. You do get alot of exhaust smell in the car. Sounds like crap, too loud no tone.
