I was looking at a Mac off-road H pipe for my 02 GT, hopefully paired up with a Magnapack catback. Is this H pipe going to be too restrictive as compared to an X pipe, or will it go well and give me that deeper rumble?
any comments are greatly appreciated.

O/R H is hardly restrictive, even compared to an X pipe. It will definately give you enough rumble.

what would the major differences be between a off road H pipe or a O/R X pipe or possibly catted X pipe?
would the mac O/R pipe go good with a magnapack catback?

Any off road mid pipe will do wonders for you,and they all are straight bolt ons.
An x pipe gives more hp in the rpm,and the h pipe gives more power in the bottom end of the rpm.
I myself went with the mac h pipe .Reason being these things (gt's)need all the help they can get to get bottom end power !!

yep i have the mac catback with the mac o/r H and its great. the X from the cars ive heard are too raspy for my taste.

I have the MAC FlowPath Mufflers on my 02' GT and man do they sound Great!!! It's fixing to be even Louder cause i just bought FoxLake Stage2 Heads and Comp Cam's and about to have them installed.Now thats when it's really going to be Loud.

H's and X's give out similar power, the H gives a deeper sound, the X gives it a raspy (like exotic car) sound

I have the MAC FlowPath Mufflers on my 02' GT and man do they sound Great!!!

Looks like a spring mod is going to be that O/R H pipe, thanks alot for all the comments, people.
