They are called "panel retainers" .. you can get them at autozone or any auto parts store. If you need a lot of em, go to a local automotive paint store and they sell them in like 50 packs (FWIW).
Ironically, I had an almost empty pack of them sitting right beside me on a speaker box I just finished, so here's a pic of what you need:
those arnt really the right ones, they wont hold as tight.
the push pins you want cost about $12 for the kit. Got mine from Dallas Mustang
when I picked my chin spoiler. Sorry no pic. Its a 2 piece push pin. you drill a hole , put it in there, then you push
in the attached pin. Then the inside will expand and tighten up. Much better than the "christmas tree type"
Who cares?I had problems with a few of mine breaking off, and i said screw it, why not just use a freakin bolt? I went to home depot and just picked up some nuts, bolts, and washers, they hold 10x better than those sh1tty plastic clips.
When you hit or scrape it you won't have any give so either the chin spoiler or the bumper are gonna tear up...with the plastic clips you have a built in protection device that allows you to replace some $5 clips instead of a $100 spoiler or worse a bumper. Thats why i didn't use a solid mount like you did.
