OK so next is to replace my ugly grille with a Mach 1 grille delete. Ive seen 2 piece and 3 piece kits. Do the 3 piece kits look better with the top piece? Why should I shell out more $$ for this one??

Check behind your grille to make sure you don't already have the 3rd piece (radiator cover). Some cars had them. Mine didn't.

I paid the price for the CDC grille eliminator. No tape,no missing hardware. Their stuff works. Not saying the $50 kits aren't good...just saying this is what I did. Buy what you are comfortable with.

It was my understanding that the 3 peice kits came with the torque screws and extra push trees for mounting the two peice required you using the original hardware.

Ford is staffed by idiots... i was like i need a mach 1 chin spoiler... describe it for about 20 minutes they come back and say its 115... i tell them the part number a day after and they are lke 89. They wouldn't know what a pal nuts is.

hardware stores are also staffed by idiots, i asked for electrical contact cleaner and they were looking at me like i had something like anal lubrication.

i guess i will have to give 50resto a call... god damn its annoying when stores are staffed by incompetents.
