Has anyone tinted the windows on there Mach 1, and if so, how did the back glass come out, did the tint seal properly at the top.

Thanks,

I believe the mach 1 has the same rear window as a GT. There are two options when tinting the rear window.

1. Tint over the dot matrix and it will look ok but you will be able to tell the tint is not perfect at the top.

2. Tint and stop right before you get the dot matrix and put a piece of black vinyl on the outside of the window. This is what I have done and it looks great...you cannot see the vinyl unless you are looking close and you do not see that crappy dot matrix.

I had my tint shop put the vinyl INSIDE the rear window to cover the dot-matrix and then limo tint the rest, and it came out great.

another way to tint over the dot part of the wind do is to take a fine sand paper and sand them all flat to the glass and then tint ever them but it takes awhile but it looks good or you can just get the vinyl like everybody eles is saying to do and i would put it on the inside instead of the outside
