Is it possible to install a mach 1 gauge face in place of a GT? I know redline will be different. Anyone attempt this?

I did it. Get a Bullitt. Same redline as GT. Just dissasmble your panel and the Bullitt and take the numbers out. Simple.

I assume its possible. Now I like my mach gauges, but they really arent all that easy to see...those numbers are really close together and there isnt any marks in between the 10mph increments, now the bullit gauges look good,I wish they would have put those in the mach.

Those rings dont come on them stock they are aftermarket. Dr_Devious has them in chrome and i have them in brushed aluminum I think they just give the gauges that finished look.

The Bullitt and Mach gauges are exactly the same. The only difference is the redline on the tach.

The Bullit/Mach 1 gauges are the best looking factory Mustang guages IMO because they have the retro look to them....

Really,I remember when i bought my gt there was a Bullit there for sale also, but the gauges where totally different, they looked old school. The numbers had a raised look to them...kinda like 60's-70's cars. That was the only bullit I have ever seen up close tho.Maybe whoever had it before had some sort of aftermakets on...

Also it had the rings on them too.
