The Mach suspension is only OK. If I were you I'd look elsewhere since the Mach susp is only 1/2 inch lower than the GT so it'll still look 4X4, though handling will be much improved. & before anyone flames yes I do know about the GT suspension as my last ride was a 2000GT. I don't see how the 4X4 look is gone but if so, good for you. I had to put 2" lowering Eibach Sportline Springs on my old GT to get rid of the look. Agreed. Nice color. I'm leaving my suspension alone for the time being, for purposes of weight transfer. If the Sport Springs made a difference @ all I would guess about a .1 or .2 second loss maximum. Thats what I'm thinking too, I have the steeda sports springs on mine and love the drop, but wouldn't mind if it was a half inch or so lower, any more than that and you wont be able to get over a friggin speed bump. Right now, I have scraped once or twice and only when i have a "plus size" person in the car and dont stop and think about it. perhaps the steeda springs coupled with mach1 shocks/struts would yield what your looking for. the steeda spring rates are right in the neighborhood of the mach 1 springs.
