Its kind of hit and miss on whether you will need them or not, some get theres aligned perfect with factory plates and other need c/c plates in order to get there alignment in spec.

How do you know whether or not they're aligned to spec w/out bringing it to an alignment shop? May as well put the plates since you SHOULD get it aligned anyway after a drop.
that seems like a pretty big waste of money to order the mach 1 suspension and not even use the springs...then buy the steeda sport springs...is there neway to get everything the mach 1 has in pieces and substitue the steeda sport springs..or will it cost more...or j/ not possible?
I've seen a few people selling Mach shocks and struts with low miles for a decent price. I bought a set wtih only 1500 miles on them for $100 shipped. Then I plan on taking a coil out of each stock spring. This should give me close to a 2 in. drop. A set of MM CC plates will also be on there for good measure.

yeah only way to find out is to take it to an alignment shop.
If your doing springs, shocks and struts all at the same time i say go ahead and get the c/c plates and install them while the front end is torn down.
