My '94 Mustang GT 5.0 has the mach system in it, but I need to replace some of the amps. I'm not real familiar with all of that, but my dad said that I need a rear amp AND a front amp...I've been looking around ebay and all I can find are rear amps...does anyone know where I can look to get what I'm needing?
Thanks a bunch

Are you really happy with the Mach system? You may have a tough time replacing those exact amps....May be better to talk with some car audio shops about doing something different. I havent messed with mine yet so I'm no authority, but ask about swithching to a good 4 channel amp to replace the Mach amps. I know the mach amps would just plug right in and that would be easy. The newest Alpines are very good and reasonably priced. Look into it and PM me, I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

Just some info for you. The MACH 460 system has three amps. One in the front under the radio and two under the rear deck. The two in the rear drive the two big speakers in the door and the two in the rear. The one amp in front drives the 2 small speakers in front and two small ones in the rear. If you do not have any bass at all but your highs work then you probably have fried the to rear amps. I did this in mine because I accidentally turned the bass up and then the volume and pop there went the amps. I opened the amps and found a few fried resistors and mosfets. I contacted visteon and they gave me the replacement parts numbers (said that its a common problem). I went to an electronics store and got the parts and soldered them in. Has worked great since. Been about two years now. Hope this helps.
